A Custom Chinese Calligraphy Gift
Turn a name or a meaningful word into brush calligraphy, then print and frame it as a personal, inexpensive gift.
"Family" drawn in the Regular (楷书) brush style — a popular gift word.
What makes a good calligraphy gift
Keep it short. A first name, a family surname, or a single meaningful word — Family, Love, Peace, Hope, Dream — reads better than a long phrase. Pick a script that matches the recipient: Regular (楷书) for a classic feel, Flowing (行书) for a lighter touch, or Wild for something more expressive.
From screen to framed gift
Download a clean PNG or SVG, then print it on textured paper and frame it, or send it to a print shop at the size you want. The preview is watermarked for free; a one-time $1.99 payment removes the watermark and gives a high-resolution file. A red cinnabar ink on rice or aged paper looks especially traditional.
If you want the Chinese characters
Moying draws the letters or characters you type rather than translating, so if you already know the Chinese form of a name or word, type it directly into the generator to see those characters in brush. For names, a common transliteration such as 艾玛 (Emma) is a good starting point — and it is worth confirming the characters with a native speaker before you give the gift.
